The exhibit will be open to the public from November 15 to January 6, 2022.
The Prince George's County Juried exhibition is sponsored by The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Department of Parks and Recreation, Arts and Cultural Heritage Division. Finding Home is the 33rd Annual Prince George's County Juried Exhibition.
Home can mean many things to many people. It can be a place a person, a state of mind, a concept, a memory, or even a good and familiar meal. Never static, what we consider home, or what reminds us of home changes as we move through life's transitions. Undeniably, the past few years have afforded us all an opportunity to spend more time at home, and to ponder, define, update, or expand just what home is. This exhibit brings together art sparked by our deepening efforts to understand, explore and express the comforts, joys, and infinite challenges of home.
Juror, Nancy Sausser, selected the artworks of 39 county visual artists who each used a variety of media to display the concept of home.
