The Park Police Applicant Test is a video-based test that focuses on logic, problem-solving, reading comprehension, and judgmental decision making. All applicants must possess a valid form of identification and the letter of testing when checking in for testing. Applicants who apply for the Park Police Officer Candidate position are required to take the Park Police Applicant Test and must achieve a passing score. If an applicant does not pass the Park Police Applicant Test, the applicant may reapply to re-take the test.

Orientation

After successfully passing the Park Police Applicant Test, applicants will attend a Park Police orientation to begin the background process. Additional information about the hiring and background processes will be provided at the orientation and questions about potential employment with The Maryland-National Capital Park Police will be answered.
