At its meeting of February 21, 2023, the Historic Preservation Commission voted to transmit its favorable recommendation on the nomination to the County Executive. With the concurrence of the County Executive, the nomination will be forwarded to the Maryland Historical Trust (MHT). The Governor's Consulting Committee on the National Register is scheduled to review the nomination on February 28, 2023.

The Governor's Consulting Committee (GCC) is scheduled to review the nomination on February 28, 2023 at the Maryland Historical Trust in Crownsville. If the GCC’s recommendation is favorable, and the State Historic Preservation Officer concurs, the nomination is forwarded to the National Register office of the National Park Service for final action.
