M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County Announces President’s Day Schedule
Riverdale, MD – The Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County, part of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, announces programming for the President’s Day holiday. The administrative offices will be closed on Monday, February 15.
Facilities that are open to the public include:
- Regional parks
- Playgrounds
- Trails
- Indoor pools
- Sports facilities: Wells Ice Rink, Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex, Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Center, Golf courses, Trap & Skeet, select permitted athletic fields, tennis courts and tennis bubbles.
Gatherings are limited to 10 people. Visitors must stay six feet apart and wear face coverings at all times. Park visitors are encouraged to bring their own wipes and hand sanitizer and clean their hands before and after use of shared surfaces, such as benches and playground equipment.
