The Tucker Road Ice Rink, an indoor rink in Ft. Washington owned and operated by The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s Department of Parks and Recreation, is closed due to a significant, 2-alarm fire that took place on Wednesday, January 4. Staff and customers got out of the building safely, with no injuries reported. All programs, classes and other activities at the facility are canceled due to the fire. However, we are allowing the use of existing Tucker Road Ice Rink passes at M-NCPPC’s Wells Ice Rink in College Park during this skating season.
Management will continue to take your comments, questions or concerns by contacting Tony Herdemian at 301-449-5566; TTY: 301-699-2544.
Again, we appreciate your patience during the extended closure of the ice rink.
