Prep work is currently in progress and is expected to be completed in March 2026. Prep work will involve setting up fencing and erosion control equipment and establishing new traffic patterns on the back side of the building.
Please follow all signage regarding traffic pattern changes during construction.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we take these first steps toward delivering a world-class new pool.

HIGHLIGHTS
The great thaw has begun! And now our exterior work at SPLEX can begin too. As we all experienced at our homes, the frozen conditions and ice removal added extra challenges to our work. Over the past few weeks, you may have seen our crews working to clean the site and make conditions safe for both our workers and facility visitors alike.
We have already installed fencing and erosion and sediment controls, so now sitework can begin. The first step will be excavating an access path from the exterior then installing shoring to make it secure. This will allow us to access the pool directly from the back, minimizing disruptions to patrons using other parts of the building. Inside the building, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure existing features that will remain intact have been properly stored and protected.
REMINDER: Please continue to follow all signage regarding traffic pattern changes during construction. We do not anticipate any major changes to how most patrons access the building but appreciate your patience and flexibility throughout this process.

NEXT STEPS
Now that the “snowcrete” is behind us, the pace of our work will increase and you will start to see major work begin on the exterior of the building. We will also be installing vibration and sound monitors to ensure the job minimizes disruptions to visitors and staff in other parts of the building. Towards the end of February, we will also start on demolition inside the pool, as we work to cut and remove the pool structure.
