Temporary Park Closure Notice

Please be advised that Mt. Calvert Park will be temporarily closed to the public for a special event on Friday, January 24, from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.

During this time, park gates will be closed and access will be restricted. The park will reopen to the public at 12:00 pm once the event concludes.

A red swing set with standard swings and baby swings at an outdoor playground. Behind the swing set is a bench and a zebra-shaped rocking feature. Beyond the edge of the playground are grass and trees.

A large, brick and wood structure with a comfort station on one end and a picnic shelter covering about five picnic tables on the other end end, all under one peaked roof. Tall trees surround the building on several sides.

Two back-to-back, half-court basketball courts in a green lawn with several tall trees nearby. Behind the courts is a combination comfort station and picnic shelter under one roof, with about six picnic tables.

A sunny, colorful playground with two large play structures, one for older kids and one for smaller kids. Both have multiple slides, platforms, stairs, climbing features, and monkey bars. Several tall trees stand near the playground edge, with a large, open field behind them.
