Please be advised that Southlawn Park Playground will be closed on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, for repairs to the playground equipment and surfacing.
Basketball Court Renovation – Southlawn Neighborhood Park
Please be advised that the basketball court at Southlawn Neighborhood Park (600 Carson Avenue Oxon Hill, MD 20745) will be closed for renovation from October 20 through December 1, 2025 (weather dependent).
Scope of Work: Contractors will be rebuilding and resurfacing the single basketball court.
Please be aware of large trucks and heavy equipment in the area during this time. Signs will be posted at the court to notify patrons of ongoing work.
Campsite Closure
Campsites A-D and Canoe Camp are closed January 1-March 31
