Temporary Bridge and Trail Closure – Walker Mill Regional Park

Please be advised that Bridge #02 and a portion of the trail located in the southeast corner of Walker Mill Regional Park will be closed for maintenance from October 21-31, 2025.

Trail users are asked to use caution and follow posted signage near the work zone.

Size: 453.84 Acres

A large picnic shelter with a red peaked roof and a concrete patio base, covering about a dozen picnic tables. Grass and trees surround it on three sides; one side has asphalt paving.

A sidewalk runs through an oversized tunnel meant to resemble a hollow log. The hollow log has holes, flowers, and wildlife as decorative elements. Through the tunnel, the sidewalk leads to a set of concrete steps.

An outdoor play area with a long, red, squiggly slide that stretches down a hillside. Blue bugs the size of toddlers are mounted in a line as if they are marching up the hill. In the distance are two red canopy structures that look like mushrooms.
