Track & Field

The Department of Parks and Recreation offers track & field and cross country meets throughout the year.

Walking and running helps you stay physically fit, burn calories, build aerobic fitness, maintain strong bones, improve your mood, and lower your risks of chronic health conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

All-Comers Meet Program

A great way to introduce children and the entire family to the world of Track and Field, the All-Comers Meet is a condensed, non-competitive version of larger youth track meets. The program allows first-timers and young athletes to enjoy the benefits of recreational activities such as running and walking.

Runners compete in various events including the 100-meter dash, 400-meter run, 1-mile run, 200-meter, 800-meter, and 4x100 relay. We invite athletes of all ages and abilities to train together in a relaxed, fun, and safe environment.
